The Sixth Digital Oil Field International Academic Conference will be held from 7th -8th November, 2019, in Xi'an, China which the starting point of the Silk Road, and themed The 20th Anniversary of China's Digital Oilfield Enables the Construction and Development of Wisdom Oil and Gas Fields .
2019 is the 20th Anniversary of China's Digital Oilfield. The conference will review and summarize the course of 20 years of exploration, exhibit the achievements of 20 years construction, also conference committee would like to invite well-known experts and scholars which carry out discussions on the digital oil fields, intelligent oil fields, especially the emerging technologies, realization paths with development prospects of wisdom oil and gas fields, so as to make strategic plans well for the development of China's oil and gas fields. This is a industry flagship event. It is the best opportunity, is also the biggest platform for oil and gas field enterprises to accelerate in-depth cooperation with universities, research institutes and oil-service companies, to promote the digital transformation and upgrading of China's oil and gas exploration, production and transportation, as well as customizing the smart oilfield construction.
Conference main content : 1). Review and Prospect on the 20th Anniversary of China Digital Oilfield Launch; 2). Academic exchanging speech from Chinese and foreign experts; 3). Establish ceremony of Wisdom Oil and Gas Field Brand Technology China Alliance on One Belt One Road (WOGTA).
In order to celebrate the 20 anniversaries of China digital oilfield, several major items have now been completed and made preparations one year in advance. Firstly, the monograph “Review and Prospect on the 20th Anniversary of China Digital Oilfield Launch” has been published; secondly, the documentary of “20th Anniversary of China Digital Oilfield Launch” has been produced; thirdly, the proceedings of the Sixth Digital Oil Field International Academic Conference has been preliminarily completed; and the special issue of excellent papers conference of “Journal of Earth Sciences and Environment” (core journal) is under review. All of these items are provided by conference committee for each delegate.
In the meanwhile, the conference collect "five awards" nominations and recommendations at global. The top 10 nominations for each award have been collected so far, but there is still some time to go before the conference. To encourage more participation, we can continue to collect the feedback as follows:
1) Conference five awards include: Nomination Award for China Digital Oilfield Research and Exploration; Nomination Award for Top Ten Leading Figures in Chinese Digital Oil and Gas Fields; Nomination Award for Top Ten Excellent Organization in China's Digital Oil and Gas Fields; Nomination Award for Top Ten Outstanding Contributions of China Digital Oil and Gas Field from IT/DT Oil Service Enterprise; Nomination Award for Top Ten Technology and Product in China Digital Oil and Gas Field.
2) Continue to Call for speakers. All organizations and individuals which have new achievements and outstanding contributions are encouraged to make a presentation in conference.
3) Call for exhibitors. DOFIAC is the classic conference samples of joint conducting between University and Petroleum Corporation, an integration of of scholarship and technology, the focus exchanging platform for digitalization, intelligentize and wisdom of oil and gas industry, which gather the leader, specialist and craftsman. At presents, over 20 booths can be reserved to display the advanced products, tools, instructors and solutions.
4) In response to the China "Belt and Road" Initiative and to seize the opportunity for industry development, all of the organizers proposed "Wisdom Oil and Gas Field Brand Technology Alliance on One Belt One Road" initiative in 2017. On 8-9th November, 2018, “Wisdom Oil and Gas Field Brand Technology China Alliance on One Belt One Road (WOGTA) Discussion and International Technology Project Exchange” were held, and the first batch of enterprises dictionary were released. The founding ceremony of the WOGTA will be proceeded at this conference. We are now inviting oil and gas field enterprises, oil-service enterprises and scientific research institutes for acquaint with and take join in WOGTA. Welcome to consult, and we welcome you to fill in the application form (provided by the organizing committee) for joining the alliance. The founding ceremony will make detail introduction for WOGTA and announce the list of the Council, the list of think tanks and the first batch of alliance members, as well as launching the "Membership Alliance" initiative and the "Enterprise, Technology and Product Hatching" program officially. The establishment of the alliance is of great significance in contributing "Chinese wisdom" to the construction of the "Belt and Road" Wisdom Oil and Gas Fields.
